Club nights can be varied and quite different depending on the Club and community and it is important for Clubs to cater for all ages and abilities.
Club nights can include fun activities and/or competitive racing with individual times being uploaded to the National Database.
Club nights are usually the first introduction to competitive swimming. Clubs may conduct timed races each week of various strokes and distances with the aim being to improve on swimmers personal best times. Points can be awarded and totalled to determine the most improved swimmers for the season.
Clubs often finish the season with club championship races where competitors are split into age groups to race head to head for points.
Clubs will usually hold a presentation awards event at the conclusion of the season to acknowledge their participants and members.
